
Why do we need your help?
We are looking for Event Volunteers to help us deliver a variety of exciting community events, providing a memorable experience. We are looking for volunteers to help us plan and market events, ensure that people understand the importance of their contribution to the charity and inspire them to fundraise and make a different for patients, their families and our staff.
What the role involves
No matter what your speciality we have something for everyone from:

running information stands in the community
-
answering queries from members of the public and providing information on Somerset NHS Charity

helping with bucket collections at supermarkets and community events
-
marshalling, ushering or cheering participants or event guests
How much time would you I have to give?
The roles are flexible throughout the year and you can volunteer for as many hours as you wish.
What skills/experience do I need?

friendly and welcoming personality / ability to engage with people

happy to be part of a team

flexibility and willingness to change tasks as the event needs
How will I be supported?

you will receive a full induction to Somerset NHS Charity

you will be fully supported by the Fundraising Team and have a dedicated contacted during events
